We are excited to announce Portkey’s exhilarating update to the latest version, introducing the much-anticipated cross-chain feature. Users can now conveniently deposit USDT to aelf from other popular networks such as Ethereum, Tron, Solana, and Polygon, and vice versa.
These newly enabled features, along with the on/off-ramping services, are now aggregated into one place — the “Deposit” button on the home screen.
Simply click “Deposit,” and you’ll find a menu where you can choose from buying crypto using fiat currency, selling crypto, depositing USDT to aelf, and withdrawing USDT to other chains.
This all-in-one entrance serves as a central hub, providing a suite of tools for your convenience and elevating your Web3 experience to new heights.
Swift Deposit/Withdrawal of USDT Across 9 Networks
The USDT deposit/withdrawal functionality is powered by ETransfer, a DApp deployed on the aelf blockchain. It empowers Portkey users to seamlessly transfer USDT between aelf and other prominent networks, including Ethereum, Tron, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum One, Solana, Polygon, Optimism, and AVAX C-Chain.
To deposit USDT to your Portkey account, simply click “Deposit USDT” from the above menu and choose if you’d like to receive it on the MainChain or SideChain address.
Select from the list of supported deposit networks, and a deposit address will be generated. All you need to do is send your USDT to that address and wait for a short period for the token to reflect in your Portkey account.
Withdrawal is even simpler. Just provide the address where you want to receive the token, select its corresponding network, and enter the withdrawal amount.
Once the deposit/withdrawal is complete, you can find transaction records in the “Activity” section of Portkey or search your wallet address in the respective blockchain explorer.

If you already have the latest version installed on your device, the above features will be automatically updated in the Portkey App/extension with no need for manual operation.
