Portkey Updated to V1.2.5

Blog Image

Dear Portkey community members,

We are happy to announce that Portkey has completed an update to V1.2.5 as of 2:00 AM (UTC), May 9.

V1.2.5 optimizes Portkey which is already supported on aelf Mainnet and further enhances the security of the product to block bots. The newly added CAPTCHA can block machines from accessing Portkey without control.

Users without Portkey can download the latest version via the links below: iOS

Android

Chrome extension

Users with the installed Portkey need to update to V1.2.5 to continue using the application. Below are tips for Portkey updates on different devices.

If you are logged in on Testnet on a mobile device, you will need to manually switch the network to Mainnet in Portkey V1.2.5 via My — Wallet — Switch Networks. You can create a new Mainnet account using your Testnet social info there.

For iOS users:

  • Since Portkey is only listed in the iOS App Store in certain countries/regions like the US and Singapore, users using Apple IDs in uncovered countries/regions can’t find Portkey App in their App Store. To update, please switch to accounts in one of those covered countries/regions.
  • If you can’t update Portkey in the App Store, this might be due to the Apple ID you are now using in the App Store being different from the one you used to download Portkey before. You need to delete the old version and then go to the App Store to download the latest.

For extension users:

  • If you installed Portkey from Chrome Web Store, the extension will be automatically updated. If it’s not, please wait a while as there might be delays.
  • If you installed Portkey with a zip file from the Discord community, you need to remove the old version first and download the latest version from Chrome Web Store.

Portkey values your opinions and wishes to hear from you so that we can continually improve our product. Hence, we would appreciate it if you could take just 2 mins for this questionnaire after you try the product: https://forms.gle/CqzdzCcKGE4fo3oe6.

Hope you enjoy Portkey and have the best Web3 experience with us!
