Portkey No Longer Supports Email Sign-up

You can still log in to existing accounts created via email

Blog Image

In this latest version of Portkey, email sign-up is no longer supported for new account creation. If you want to create a new account, please use other available methods like your Google account, Apple ID, or Telegram account. Users who wish to set their email as login account are not able to do so. However, users who have already set their email as login account are not affected.

Existing accounts registered via email can still be accessed. However, we strongly recommend our users to switch to other login methods, such as Google or Apple accounts, which allows them to benefit from advanced zkLogin technology for enhanced security and privacy.

This update brings Portkey users closer to a more secure and seamless account management experience. We're also working on adding more popular Web2 login options, such as Facebook. Stay tuned for future updates!

If you already have the latest version installed on your device, the above feature will be automatically updated in the Portkey App/extension after you close Portkey and reopen it. If you're new to Portkey, you can download the app on iOS, Android, and Chrome.

We are here for you if you need help with Portkey, contact us at https://form.portkey.finance/contact or get in touch via our Telegram group.

Hope you enjoy Portkey and have the best Web3 experience with us!
